Lawren D. Burroughs

In addition to founding Burroughs Law Office, P.C., Lawren D. Burroughs was an adjunct professor with Saint Leo University teaching in the areas of Political Science and Criminal Justice. Among the classes she teaches are Intro to Law and the Legal System, Substantive Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Business Law. Attorney Burroughs has represented hundreds of citizens in need in her capacity as Assistant Public Defender for the Office of the Public Defender in Norfolk, Virginia. Prior to entering the field of law, she worked for a number of well-respected companies honing skills in business and personnel management, marketing, and individual and corporate retirement planning. Among her former employers are Spirit Cruises, Delaware Investments, and the American Funds Group. She, her wife, three daughters, and son reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia and are parishioners of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Attorney Burroughs practices in the following areas of law: Family Law; Divorce; Child Support; Alimony (Spousal Support); Child Custody; Visitation Rights; Parenting Time; Restraining Orders; Domestic Violence; Marital Property Distribution; and Military Divorce.
