Sheila Moheb

Sheila Moheb is criminal and family law attorney serving the Commonwealth of Virginia She graduated with honors from the University of Richmond with a dual degree in English and Sociology. She then earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public interest. As a criminal litigation attorney, Mrs. Moheb has served criminal defendants in over 25 jurisdictions across the Commonwealth, and she defends each client’s constitutional rights faithfully. As a second-generation Persian American, she prides herself in providing a voice for those who have been systematically muted or otherwise disregarded on the basis of their race, sex, gender or socioeconomic status. Mrs. Moheb has extensive jury trial experience, and she specializes in narcotics and weapons offenses, as well as violent sexual felonies. While representing clients in domestic matters, Mrs. Moheb works effectively to mediate cases where litigation can and should be avoided. When litigation is inevitable, Mrs. Moheb is an aggressive yet efficient divorce attorney who seeks financial security and closure for her clients. Prior to starting her firm, Sheila Moheb was a law clerk in the Virginia Court of Appeals for Justice Cleo E. Powell. Mrs. Moheb is a member of the Virginia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Virginia Women Attorneys Association, and she serves on the Board of Directors for Four Truths Recovery.
