Matthew Robles

Mr. Robles joined Hawks Quindel as an Associate Attorney in 2014. His practice focuses on representing employees in worker's compensation matters, and criminal defense, representing individuals charged with crimes or violating traffic laws and municipal ordinances. Before joining the firm, Mr. Robles worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Frank. D. Remington and Honorable Stephen Ehlke at the Dane County Circuit Court. Mr. Robles handled a wide array of cases, including civil litigation, criminal law, and administrative law. Mr. Robles graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School with honors in 2013. During law school, Mr. Robles worked for a number of the law school’s clinical programs. Mr. Robles worked as a student attorney for the Legal Assistance to Institutionalized Persons Project (LAIP), where he represented incarcerated individuals in postconviction matters. He also worked as a law intern for the Dane County District Attorney’s Office, where he conducted a number of trials, including felonies. Mr. Robles received the Abner Brodie Award for his outstanding clinical work. Mr. Robles completed his undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin—Madison, earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Mr. Robles is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Dane County Bar Association. He is also admitted to practice in federal court in Wisconsin’s Eastern and Western Districts. Mr. Robles currently serves as an ad hoc member of the Wisconsin Judicial Council Committee on Appellate Procedure.
