Andrew K. Sheffield

Andrew Sheffield joined the firm in 2004, and practices primarily in the area of civil litigation on behalf of individuals, families and large and small businesses. Mr. Sheffield's practice spans a range of matters before state and federal courts in the areas of contract law, business torts, real estate, construction, unlawful detainer and common interest developments. Mr. Sheffield is also a licensed real estate broker, which background and expertise allows him to more efficiently serve clients in all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, construction, leasing, financing, and management. Mr. Sheffield also frequently assists landlords, brokers and other real estate professionals with post-acquisition issues such as boundary disputes, lot line adjustments, conditional use permits, and similar matters. These skills also promote efficiency in his handling of litigation in all of these fields. While earning his Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, Mr. Sheffield was the student body president and representative to the American Bar Association.
